Here’s a list of just a few cases in which our work has been to their benefit:

• Jury verdict in client’s favor in commercial lawsuit between aviation manufacturer and crankshaft forging vendor. Result listed in America’s Top 100 Verdicts, 2005.
• Jury verdict in client’s favor in commercial lawsuit between aircraft integrator and aircraft manufacturer. Result listed in America’s Top 100 Verdicts, 2001.
• Jury verdict in client’s favor in multimillion dollar wrongful death lawsuit resulting from death of a 17-year-old high school student. Affirmed on appeal.
• Unanimous defense verdict – following 11 minutes of deliberation – on behalf of national freight carrier, in wrongful death action involving a tractor trailer/pedestrian accident on an interstate highway. Last settlement demand prior to trial was in excess of $1 million.
• Settlement of $41,000 structured on behalf of client who had been subject to damage claim of $23 million in case involving patent infringement, breach of contract and usurpation of customer base claims.
• Directed verdict by presiding federal judge in multimillion dollar aviation wrongful death case, including complex international partnership issue. Rose Walker client awarded costs of lawsuit.
• Verdict for client in breach of contract lawsuit involving the sale of a business jet. Our client’s six-figure settlement offer was rejected at mediation, on advice of opposing counsel. Jury found no breach of contract and awarded no damages.
• Settlement in favor of defendant client in suit for director/officer liability with allegations of fraud and asset concealment. Rose•Walker hired just prior to trial, after previous defense counsel waived significant defenses. Last settlement offer before trial - $10 million. Plaintiff settled during trial for cost of defense.
• Settlement in favor of defendant client in aviation wrongful death case in which plaintiff was represented by one of top trial firms in Texas. Client initially offered $2 million to settle case. Plaintiff rejected, and asked for $7 million. Settled on eve of trial for $1 million.
• Settlement in favor of defendant client in case personal injury claim against national freight carrier. Plaintiff’s last pre-trial demand - $15 million. Settled during jury deliberations for $3.6 million.
• Settlement in favor of defendant client in personal injury action involving airport minibus and pedestrian. Plaintiff claimed permanent injury and damages in excess of $1 million. Last settlement demand equal to five times the eventual jury verdict. Jury found no permanent injury.
• Summary judgment in favor of client insurance company in bad faith lawsuit arising out of aviation disaster.
