2009 Texas Super Lawyers List Honors Three from Dallas’ Rose•Walker

Firm co-founder Marty Rose marks fifth consecutive year on prestigious list

 

DALLAS – Three attorneys from Dallas’ Rose•Walker, L.L.P. are being honored in the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers listing of Texas’ top attorneys.

 

Firm co-founder Marty Rose appears on the list for the fifth consecutive year. Firm partner Don Swaim is named for the second time, while partner Michael Richardson makes his first appearance.

 

The prestigious Texas Super Lawyers list honors 5 percent of the approximately 70,000 attorneys across the state based on peer nominations, a review conducted by a blue-ribbon committee of other lawyers, and independent research by Texas Super Lawyers editors.

 

Mr. Rose’s trial career spans more than 34 years and includes scores of cases tried in federal and state courts across the country involving high-risk commercial disputes, intellectual property litigation, personal injury claims and wrongful death cases. His work has been highlighted in respected business and legal publications in Texas and nationwide. Both he and Mr. Richardson were named to the Texas Super Lawyers list based on their work in business litigation.

 

Mr. Richardson has tried dozens of cases in federal and state courts in Texas and several other states. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and wrongful death claims involving transportation accidents, airplane crashes and product liability claims, as well as commercial disputes and intellectual property litigation.

 

Mr. Swaim’s extensive trial experience includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in aviation litigation, products liability, premises liability and personal injury claims. He was selected to appear in the Texas Super Lawyers based on his expertise in aviation law.
